Technical Operations & Project Lead
Technical operations and project management for a Web3 startup: a multi-chain NFT bridge, 30+ blockchains, close to $6M raised. I ran the infrastructure with my own hands and the projects around it; every account, credential, deployment and supplier ran through me.
- Ran the AWS staging and production environments: S3, CloudFront, ACM certificates and TLS, domain registration, Cloudflare DNS and redirect rules, registrar and nameserver migrations. Took every build to staging first, then production.
- Secured and provisioned every account the company owned: AWS, MongoDB, Heroku, GitHub, Google Workspace, Dropbox, every social platform. Opened each one, approved the spend, gave minimum access, kept the 2FA on a separate phone.
- MongoDB: cluster setup, upgrades ahead of peak load, queries and direct collection edits. Dropbox Business for the company's sensitive files, with offline backups.
- Built and imaged every employee's machine: Windows, macOS, iOS, Ubuntu. Google Workspace and Apple Business Manager, Google Cloud API keys.
- The company website and docs: bug fixes, forms behind Captcha, weekly docs releases from GitHub to staging to production.
- Audited every subscription with the CTO and closed the ones not needed, which cut the monthly services bill.
- Built the back-office and QA flows behind product launches, and the anti-abuse rules for the Galxe campaigns' free NFT mint: per-wallet caps and time-boxed verification.
- Wrote the weekly investor and community update, pulled from dev, BD, marketing and design and shipped every Sunday; one of two people in the company in contact with investors. Single contact for 19 blockchain grants, from agreement to final payment.
- Managed the 24/7 community team: six people in six countries, rotas, hiring, training, escalation.
- Designed the seven-year legal retention archive when the company wound down: three jurisdictions, 60+ investors, with a README an outside auditor could follow.
